IUT Beyeler, our distributor for German speaking countries, Poland and Russia, together with Mr Raimund Krakovski and Mr Paul Paraniewski, recently took part in the very successfully Recycling Active trade fair in Baden Baden, Germany.
Recycling Aktive is a somewhat different exhibition dedicated to the recycling industry which is mainly held outdoors and specializes in providing visitors with lots of hands on demonstrations. Every year the number of visitors has increased, this year there were over 7,500 special interest visitors and more than 600 representatives from 202 exhibiting companies. The area available to exhibitors and participants was an impressive 76,500 square meters.
What makes Recycling Aktive so special is the fact that participants get the chance to see all of the recycling machinery and equipment working in real live demonstrations. IUT Beyeler demonstrated an ACL500 TAURUS transportable shear baler, the ACL 500 uses a diesel motor, has a 6 meter compression box with two compression cylinders per wing and uses 500 tons of cutting force. It has been fully refurbished by Mr Krakovski and Mr Paraniewski who have many years of experience turning used TAURUS shears and balers back to an “as new” condition.
The large number of exhibitors, especially the presence of decision-makers has more than met Peter Beyeler’s expectations. IUT Beyeler has been a successful TAURUS distributor for over 30 years.
