Veneto: a new TAURUS BLULINE shear baler AGS148

A new electric TAURUS BLULINE ARS148 press and shear has been delivered and tested in Veneto. Our customer contacted TAURUS to request a shear baler that could guarantee a specific hourly production and appropriate to process mixed scrap and demolition.
The ideal match would be our TAURUS BLULINE ARS shear baler. A machine equipped with a traditional oscillating wing system, but redesigned to meet the needs of the new market.
The ARS range, in fact, presents a new support of the main cylinder This has been further increased to meet customer requests, provide more powerful electric motors (4 x 110 kw) and also include a larger size of the shear mouth (1000 x 700 mm).
But it doesn’t stop here. In fact, the TAURUS BLULINE ARS148 has also been equipped with SWP, loading hopper and protection of the head and support frame and, finally, TAURUS created a new modern operator’s cabin designed to offer greater visibility and maximum comfort. Other impressive characteristics include high temperature and explosion-proof glass, air-conditioning and heating system, insulated for colder environments and equipped as required.

NEW TAURUS DIABLO DB52 baler installed in Naples

A new Diablo baler DB52B TAURUS BLACKLINE was installed and tested in Naples a few days ago.

Our customer has worked in the Italian scrap metal and car-recycling industry for more than 50 years and operates on a national level.
Already a loyal Taurus customer with an older model DB52 car baler, he contacted TAURUS to supply him with a the best baler for processing end-of-life vehicles. The updated TAURUS DIABLO DB52 then as now is still the best available car baler on the market.
The fundamental durable design of the original DB52 have been incorporated in to the new model with some evolutionary improvements added to keep TAURUS one step ahead. These improvements include: self-braking hydraulic cylinders to avoid shocks and vibrations during the opening and closing phase, the latest fuel efficient Perkins Eco diesel engine with soundproofing for a low emission and reliable operation while the latest generation Linde pumps and other improvements to the hydraulics make this one of the fastest balers on the market. If requested, the DB52 baler can be connected remotely to TAURUS head office to provide tele-diagnostic service and adjustments of any operating anomalies without the need for a service technician to travel to the customers yard.

AUSTRALIA: A NEW YEAR’S WITHOUT “EXPLOSIONS”

A year start to remember for our Australian customer, in fact, the pre-shredder machine REDLINE BRAVO B16H has been recently tested and put into operation. Our customer in Sydney tuned to TAURUS as they required a machine to feed their hammer mill evenly and continuously. The B16H placed ahead of the shredder allows to eliminate explosions in the grinding chamber, reduces energy consumptions, avoids the presence of absorption peaks and increases the life of the wear plates, grids and hammers. Our costumer requested a machine that could process high density scrap bales,  further meet certain production requirements and a special iron structure to protect the machine from accidental fall of scrap, a cover able to protect gear reducers, hydraulic motors and the hydraulic power unit. The TAURUS team analysed the requirements and designed and manufactured the largest B16H machine ever built in C.E G. to date.
