An ARS 127 TAURUS BLULINE shear baler will be delivered in next days to a scrap yard in Finland.
Shear force 1200 tons, box length mm7200, 3 cylinders per wing able to reach a side compression force each wing of 450 Ton, bale dimension mm 1000 x 700 and an output of 50 tons per hour, there are some technical features of this machine.
Our Finnish costumer needs a faster and performing shear baler, Taurus revised the hydraulic unit installing n.4 electric motors of 110 kw instead of 2 x 160 Kw. The machine has been equipped with some new devices: the shear head is now fitted with a mobile cover to protect the shear holder, this openable screen let him to intervene for maintenance operations without disassemble the structure. The shear head has been reinforced in the ware parts of the cylinders’ guides, this new device avoids the bending of the structure and to protect the cylinders, piston and seals. Taurus has also strengthen the loading hopper structure to prevent it from bended and twisting.
The attention that TAURUS makes on his machines are the result of years in studying and knowledge of the scrap market. The possibility to customize and answer to some customer special requirements and pay attention to all the technical specifications, known only by workers in the sector, allows TAURUS to update and develop all the machines to keep very high standard and performances level.
